Actor-director Justin Baldoni is facing financial and emotional struggles due to his ongoing legal battle with his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated that his client and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, have been severely affected by the lawsuit.
The dispute began after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in December 2024, which was published by The New York Times. Baldoni denied the claims and later filed a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper. In response, Lively officially sued Baldoni, prompting him to counter-sue her and Reynolds for $400 million in January 2025.
The judge has denied Lively and Reynolds’ request for a gag order but warned both parties against making public statements that could impact the trial, scheduled for March 2026. Despite this, Baldoni has continued to publicly defend himself by releasing footage from the film set and launching a website to counter Lively’s allegations.
Lively’s legal team insists on holding Baldoni accountable, while Baldoni maintains that the accusations have unfairly damaged his reputation and career.
