Paige DeSorbo has finally cleared up the rumors surrounding her breakup from Craig Conover, which have been clouded by “baseless” cheating accusations. Speaking on the Giggly Squad podcast, the Summer House star set the record straight, vehemently denying any form of infidelity during their three-year relationship. “I never physically cheated on him, emotionally cheated on him,” DeSorbo stated. “Can you mentally cheat on him? … I don’t know, but I didn’t.”
She revealed that their breakup happened over Thanksgiving weekend, at the end of November 2024, but the public announcement didn’t come until the following month. “Since no one’s sticking up for me on the other side … I will say that Craig and I broke up Thanksgiving weekend,” DeSorbo clarified. Craig Conover, on the other hand, continued to promote Southern Charm in early December as if they were still a couple, which DeSorbo didn’t mind, stating, “He was processing in his own way.”

However, by the time Christmas came around, DeSorbo noticed Conover was acting as if he were single, prompting her to decide it was time to share the breakup news on her podcast. She sent him a text to give him a heads-up, but her message went unanswered. “The breakup episode came out … at the end of December,” she added.
What followed, she said, was a swift shift in the narrative with cheating rumors rapidly gaining traction. “It took a turn really quickly,” she admitted, explaining that, despite being linked to someone new, she is, in fact, single. “Let me say this here and now, I did not move on with some new guy. I am single. I don’t have a new boyfriend.”
The rumors didn’t end there. Paige made it clear she had asked Conover to help shut them down, but he refused. “Any of the other baseless rumors … that have my name in them, they are not true,” she said with conviction.
The relationship, according to Paige, ended after a careful “inventory” of their time together, emphasizing that neither party was blindsided or cheated on. DeSorbo made it clear she didn’t want to be portrayed as either the “victim” or the “villain” in the situation. She simply wanted to move on with clarity and without the drama.
Conover’s team has yet to respond to requests for comment regarding DeSorbo’s statements, leaving the air of mystery lingering for now.
