Talbi

Chemsdine Talbi is a highly promising young footballer born in Sambreville, Belgium, on May 9, 2005. Developing through the youth ranks of Tubize before joining Club Brugge in 2015, Talbi quickly progressed through their academy system. He made his professional debut with Club Brugge's second team, Club NXT, in the 2022-23 season, scoring on his debut against SL16 FC. Talbi's performances earned him a place in the first team, making his league debut in March 2023. His breakthrough season came in 2024-25 with Club Brugge, where he scored four goals across all competitions, including a brace in the UEFA Champions League knockout play-offs against Atalanta, helping the team reach the Round of 16. On July 9, 2025, at the age of 20, he signed for Premier League club Sunderland for an undisclosed fee reported to be around £16.5 million. In his debut season with the Black Cats, Talbi scored four goals, including a crucial stoppage-time winner against Chelsea on October 25, 2025. Off the pitch, Talbi, who is of Moroccan descent, chose to represent Morocco internationally starting in March 2025, receiving his first call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations.
