Amina Onsy

Amina Onsy is an Egyptian Arab scientist and politician. She was the first woman to hold a position at the National Security Agency (NSA) in the United States, making her the first woman of color to serve as a top-ranking official in the agency. She served as the head of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) from 1987 until 2003. Onsy was also involved in the fight against terrorism and has been described as one of the most influential women in the history of the U.S. government.
