Ariana Grande’s Stalker Sentenced to Over Three Years in Prison for Years-Long Harassment
Ariana Grande can finally breathe a sigh of relief as her relentless stalker, responsible for nearly 100 break-ins and threats with a large hunting knife, has been sentenced to over three years in prison. The stalker, identified as John T. Savrnoch Brown, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including stalking, residential burglary, and making criminal threats against Grande in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.
Santa Barbara County District D.A. confirmed the sentencing, revealing that Brown will serve three years and eight months in a California state prison. Additionally, he will be subject to a restraining order filed by Grande for the next ten years, banning any form of contact with the singer.
Brown’s reign of terror began in 2021, escalating with approximately 100 attempts to break into Grande’s Hollywood mansion. The situation reached a horrifying peak when he brandished a large hunting knife, prompting Grande to file for a restraining order against him.
In court documents, Grande detailed the terrifying incident, explaining that the stalker had become combative, displaying the dangerous weapon while making threatening statements. Despite the initial restraining order, the stalker continued his harassment, violating the terms and breaking into Grande’s home in June 2022.
This isn’t the first time Grande has faced such threats; in May 2020, she and her mother applied for a restraining order against another stalker who broke into her home, leaving a love note for the singer. Despite the ongoing challenges posed by obsessed fans, the recent sentencing brings a sense of justice and security for Ariana Grande.
